CSV to iCal (Generic) Update 4
Ok, so I have been getting the messages about the errors and I have finally had a chance to look into debugging. So I changed the code around a bit and now it will throw a more detailed error with the file type it thinks you tried to upload. Please post the link to the error you get. It should look something like “http://www.thegreatco.com/csvtoical/calendar.php?msg=3&detail=”. It is the information after the “detail=” that will help me figure out the problem. I do have a few questions for those getting errors, what browser/OS are you using? I know this works on vista, I use it myself so I can’t figure out why its not working. Need your help with this one, make sure to put in your 2cents.
Thanks,

Weirdest Super Mario Brothers Theme Songs
So in my endless crawling of the web, I came across one of the funniest and creative posts I’ve seen in a while. The 7 Weirdest Super Mario Bros Theme Song Performances is a nice collection of people playing the Super Mario Bros. Theme Song. They range from hand farts to a guy with 2 guitars to Tesla Coils modulated to play music. Not only are these extremely creative, but all them in one place is great. Read more

I am switching servers so I expect to have some downtime in the next 24hours, hopefully it wont be too long. Most of the down time will be the result of DNS changeovers. Let you know when its all done.

It’s called Car Maint. & Fuel Economy by BlueKatana, Inc. This software has some nice features. It can keep track of everything from brake changes, all sorts of filter changes, tire changes, all your fluid changes and even chassis lubes and the like. Vista Media Center
Since there is a power outage today that closed school I have had some time to get to doing some things I have been meaning to do for a while.
A few weeks ago I upgraded my laptop hard drive to 320 gigs and upgraded to Vista Ultimate x64 from Vista Business x64. With this I gained Windows Media Center to use with my TV tuner instead of the worthless ATI software that came with it. Well I found a few things out about Media Center that drove me up the wall.
One was that it didn’t natively support avi files. Not a huge deal by itself, so I installed the Xvid codec to get things working. No dice. The files played just fine in Windows Media Player, but not in Media Center. So I figured it had something to do with it being a “3rd party” codec. So I un-installed it and tried the name brand DiVX codec. Again, played fine in Media Player but not in Media Center. So I did some digging and came back to ffdshow, something I haven’t had to use and hadn’t seen since 2004 when I started using VLC for everything. Tried installing that, again Media Player worked but no Media Center. Read more
