So I sit here in the car on Rt. 17 heading to my girlfriend’s dad’s house and realize I am probably the only person who does 3-D modeling in the car. I have no choice, I have a modeling and simulation case study due tomorrow and a Multivariate Calculus test tomorrow as well. Need to use my time wisely. I finished all the actual modeling and simulations last night without looking at the results. Now that I look at the results, I realize they may be a bit off.

I pulled a force to use off a website from the UNL Engineering site, as it turns out, that force may be a bit too much. The deformation is so great on the aluminum connecting rod that Solidworks is unable to display a result. Its too late to go back and re-run the simulations. Not enough time or battery life to do it. So I guess I just have to back up my results using the UNL website and say why they are wrong. Oh well, off to writing the report on it. Hopefully I can make it interesting enough to set me apart from the other 40 reports he is going to get by Monday night that I’ll get a decent grade.
